The results of the first round of ESL Pro League Season 9

Europe

Such teams as FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, and Astralis have placed first in their groups in the European division. They have become participants of ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals. Such teams as OpTic Gaming, North, Heroic, devils.one, Natus Vincere, Fnatic, HellRaisers, and BIG have held the 2nd and 3rd places. They will continue their participation in the second phase of the European league. ex-Space Soldiers, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Windigo Gaming, and ex-3DMAX have finished their way in EPL #9 because they had held the last places in their groups.

America

Such participants of the league as NRG Esports, Team Liquid, Luminosity Gaming, and DETONA Gaming have become the winners of their groups in North and South America. Due to their efforts, they will go to the LAN Final. eUnited, Renegades, Ghost Gaming, compLexity Gaming, MIBR, Cloud9, Isurus Gaming, and Infinity Esports have placed second and third. The above-mentioned teams will continue their participation in the second phase of EPL #9 Americas. Two more invites to ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals will be up for grabs there. INTZ eSports, Lazarus Esports, Team Envy, and Denial Esports were eliminated from the competition, having held the fourth place in their groups.

Oceania and Asia

The following teams have held the first two places in their groups in this division: ORDER, Athletico Esports, Grayhound Gaming, Chiefs Esports Club, Lucid Dream, Alpha Red, TYLOO, and MVP PK. They have made it to the second phase where invites to ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals will be up for grabs. Breakaway Esports, Paradox Gaming, Avant Gaming, Ground Zero Gaming, B.O.O.T, Entity Gaming, Vici Gaming, and 5Power Gaming have finished their way in EPL #9. Part of them will be moved to the tenth season, while the teams to hold the last places in groups will step down to EPL Relegation.

The second phase will be hosted in all divisions on May 14-23. The organizers will distribute the rest of invitations to the LAN final between the best teams of each region.
