With this victory, Astralis keep their playoff hopes alive, while FaZe are eliminated from the tournament.

The match started on Dust2, picked by FaZe. They began on the T side but failed to gain full control of the game. Astralis managed to win several key rounds and closed the first half with a narrow 7–5 lead. Astralis managed to win the final round of regulation to push the game into overtime, where the Danish side secured a 16–14 victory.

Astralis will now play a decisive 2–2 match, where a victory would secure them a spot in the playoffs. ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 2 runs from March 6 to March 10, where 16 teams compete for playoff spots. The remaining eight teams will share a prize pool of $185,000.
