
Legacy defeat Natus Vincere and advance to the ESL Pro League Season 23 playoffs
The Ukrainian team Natus Vincere suffered a surprising loss to Brazilian squad Legacy in the Stage 2 match at ESL Pro League Season 23. The series ended 2–0 in favor of Legacy — the Brazilians confidently secured Dust2 and then closed out Mirage in the second half. With this victory, Legacy secured a spot in the tournament playoffs, while NAVI dropped to the 2–2 bracket and will continue fighting for a place in the next stage.

The match started on Dust2, picked by Legacy. The Brazilian side delivered a strong performance on the T side, building a comfortable 9–3 lead by halftime. After switching to the attack, NAVI were unable to mount a comeback and managed to win only one round, ultimately losing the map 4–13.
On Mirage, NAVI looked slightly better. In the first half, Legacy once again held the advantage, though by a narrower margin of 7–5. After the side switch, NAVI managed to take the lead on the CT side, but Legacy found the strength to close the map 13–10.

Despite entering the match as underdogs, Legacy secured an important victory that sends them to the playoffs. Meanwhile, NAVI are forced to continue their run in the 2–2 bracket. ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 2 takes place from March 6 to March 10, where 16 teams compete for a spot in the playoffs. The remaining eight teams will share a prize pool of $185,000.
