IEM Katowice Major 2019: the results of the second gaming day of The New Legends Stage
4562Astralis and Renegades, and also Team Liquid and Natus Vincere faced in the upper matches. The Danes from Astralis prevailed in the first match and Team Liquid won the second one.
In the middle matches, MIBR was playing against the players from G2 Esports, FaZe Clan was fighting with AVANGAR, Vitality was playing with Cloud9 and Ninjas in Pyjamas were competing with HellRaisers. MIBR, AVANGAR, Vitality, and Ninjas in Pyjamas have become the winners of the above-mentioned matches. These four teams will play in the upper matches of the fourth round and fight for getting to the playoffs.
ENCE eSports and BIG, and also NRG Esports and compLexity Gaming were playing in the lower matches of the third round. ENCE and compLexity achieved victory and moved to the lower matches of the fourth round, while BIG and NRG finished their participation in the championship, having received consolation prizes in the sum of $8,750 as a reward.
It's worth to remind that IEM Katowice Major 2019 has been being hosted since February 13 and will finish on March 3. 24 teams have gathered in Poland to determine the champion of the Major tournament, which will earn a money prize in the sum of $500,000. The general prize pool is $1,000,000.
