At PGL Bucharest 2026, the battle for a semifinal spot is reaching its peak, and the match between Astralis and EYEBALLERS fully lived up to expectations. The three-map series delivered both a confident start from one side and a dramatic comeback from the other before the winner was decided. The Danish squad managed to turn the tide after losing Mirage and confidently closed out the series, taking another step toward the trophy.

The series kicked off on Mirage, where EYEBALLERS showed strong attacking play and solid defense, securing a 13:8 victory. However, on the second map, Ancient, a true battle unfolded that went into overtime. In a tense finish, Astralis proved more resilient, edging out a 16:14 win to tie the series.
The decider took place on Inferno, where the suspense quickly disappeared. Astralis completely dominated the server, leaving no chance for a comeback. The map ended in a crushing 13:2 scoreline in favor of the Danes, sealing their overall victory in the match.

The best player of the match was Staehr, who finished the series with a 100.4 ADR and a 1.6 rating.
Astralis become the second semifinalists, where they will face 3DMAX. Despite a close contest, EYEBALLERS end their run in 5th–8th place, earning $62,500 in prize money. PGL Bucharest 2026 takes place from April 4 to April 11, featuring 16 teams competing for a $625,000 prize pool.
