
3DMAX defeat MIBR and advance to the PGL Bucharest 2026 semifinals
At PGL Bucharest 2026, another semifinalist has been determined: in a tense clash between 3DMAX and MIBR, the French side came out on top. The series was extremely close and went the full three maps, with both teams trading momentum throughout. Despite a strong start from MIBR, 3DMAX managed to turn things around and secure the win, booking their spot in the semifinals.

Inferno (13:9 MIBR)
The match began on 3DMAX’s pick. MIBR started on the CT side, where they found their footing on the opponent’s map and secured 9 rounds in the first half. After the side switch, the French squad tried to respond on their own CT side, but it wasn’t enough, as MIBR closed out the map 13:9.
Ancient (13:16 3DMAX)
Ancient delivered a tight battle, with MIBR holding a narrow 7:5 lead at halftime. In the second half, 3DMAX went on a 6-round streak to reach map point, but MIBR managed to push the game into overtime. Still, 3DMAX came out on top, winning 16:13.
Nuke (9:13 3DMAX)
On the dicisive Nuke, MIBR initially had the upper hand. Playing on the CT side, they built a solid 7:5 lead. However, after switching sides, they lost control of the game and allowed 3DMAX to close it out 13:9.

The best player of the match was Lucky, who posted a 1.22 rating.
It was a very close series, but 3DMAX ultimately proved to be the stronger side. MIBR finish their run in 5th–8th place, earning $62,500 in prize money. Meanwhile, 3DMAX advance to the semifinals, where they will face the winner of the matchup between Astralis and EYEBALLERS. PGL Bucharest 2026 takes place from April 4 to April 11, featuring 16 teams competing for a total prize pool of $625,000.
