The Turkish side FUT Esports took another confident step toward the title at PGL Bucharest 2026, defeating The MongolZ in the semifinals. In a tense series, FUT showed consistency and composure in key moments, closing out the matchup 2–0 to secure their spot in the grand final.

Nuke (13:10 FUT)

The first map of the series was Nuke, where FUT quickly took control and maintained a comfortable lead for most of the game. Despite attempts from The MongolZ to fight back in the second half, FUT controlled the key rounds and closed out the map 13:10.

Mirage (16:14 FUT)

Mirage turned out to be much closer and more intense. Both teams traded momentum throughout the map, eventually pushing the game into overtime. In the decisive moments, FUT showed better composure and teamwork, securing a 16:14 victory and sealing the series.

Match MVP

The standout player of the match was lauNX, who played a crucial role in his team’s victory. He finished the series with an ADR of 84.9 and a 1.34 rating, consistently winning important duels and giving FUT the edge in key situations.

It was a confident performance from the Turkish squad, who now prepare for the grand final against Astralis. Meanwhile, The MongolZ will face 3DMAX in the third-place match. It is also worth noting that after reaching the final, FUT moved up to 6th place in the VRS ranking. PGL Bucharest 2026 runs from April 4 to April 11, featuring 16 teams competing for a $625,000 prize pool.
