Lord Matus
EG and OG got to the top of their groups by the results of the first game day of ESL One Birmingham 2019

EG opposed to such teams as Team Secret and Gambit Esports. We should mark that the team of Artur ‘Arteezy’ Babaev didn't lose any map even though the players faced one of the strongest Dota rosters in the world, Secret.

Arteezy said in one of his interviews that the meeting with Gambit was uneasy and could end up by the score of 1-1, however the Americans were lucky to participate in the match where Gambit decided to use neither of their successful strategies.

Meanwhile, OG were playing with such teams as Ninjas in Pyjamas and Forward Gaming. If the match against FWD was smooth and the meeting ended up by the score of 2-0, playing with NiP, the European did their best but still n0tail together with his teammates lost one map.

Now the group stage bracket is the following:

Group А

  • OG — 3-1
  • Vici Gaming — 2-2
  • TNC Predator — 2-2
  • Team Liquid — 2-2
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas — 2-2
  • Forward Gaming — 1-3

Group B

  • Evil Geniuses — 4-0
  • PSG.LGD — 3-1
  • Gambit Esports — 2-2
  • Keen Gaming — 2-2
  • Team Secret — 1-3
  • Alliance — 0-4
