Following the conclusion of Fragadelphia Blocktober 2025, which wrapped up on October 5 with a victory for fnatic, the full lineup of teams for the most anticipated tournament of the year — StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 — has been finalized. From November 24 to December 14, 32 of the world’s best teams will battle for the championship title and a share of the $1,250,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home $500,000.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 1

The first stage of the tournament will take place from November 24 to 27, following the Swiss system. All matches will be played in a best-of-one (bo1) format, except for elimination and advancement matches, which will be best-of-three (bo3). A total of 16 teams will compete in this stage, with only 8 advancing to the next phase.

Stage 1 participants:

  • FaZe (EU)
  • GamerLegion (EU)
  • NiP (EU)
  • B8 (EU)
  • PARIVISION (EU)
  • fnatic (EU)
  • Legacy (AM)
  • Imperial Esports (AM)
  • M80 (AM)
  • NRG (AM)
  • RED Canids (AM)
  • Lynn Vision (AS)
  • The Huns (AS)
  • FlyQuest (AS)
  • Rare Atom (AS)

It’s worth highlighting the remarkable run of fnatic, who had only a 2.9% chance of qualifying for the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 as of September 29 — yet proved that nothing is impossible on the road to Counter-Strike’s most prestigious event.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2

The second stage will run from November 29 to December 2, following the same Swiss format. Alongside the 8 advancing teams from Stage 1, the following invited teams will join the competition:

  • Aurora (EU)
  • NAVI (EU)
  • Astralis (EU)
  • 3DMAX (EU)
  • Team Liquid (EU)
  • MIBR (AM)
  • Passion UA (AM)
  • TYLOO (AS)

Out of the 16 teams in Stage 2, only the top 8 will move on to the third and final stage, where the playoff race begins.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 3

The third and final stage will feature the strongest teams from the previous stages, along with those who earned direct invitations via the VRS ranking system:
