Peter ‘ppd’ Dager complained about the format of the qualifiers in Europe and China. In his opinion the biggest problem of the elimination rounds in the mentioned regions consist in the fact that Single Elimination wasn’t suitable for the qualifier where the players fight for two invites instead of one. So, both of the finalists will get invitations and that is where the point of the final invitations is lost. The coach of Alliance, Jonathan ‘Loda’ Berg, and the former player of Vega Squadron, Maurice ‘KheZu’ Gutmann agreed with the captain of NiP.
A day after ppd made a claim, it got known that the organizers met the captain halfway and changed the format of holding the European and the Chinese qualifiers for Double Elimination. The other regions will be fighting in the bracket Single Elimination.
