It’s worth to notice that the overall prize pool of TI8 amounted $25,532,177 and 110 needed for its collection. At the moment, the sum of collected money for the Dota 2 World Championship amounts $25,649,491 and this is 100,5% of the last year’s tournament.

The International 2019 will take place in Shanghai, China on August 15-25. The championship will be hosted in the theme of old ruins and jungles. Last year, the victory was achieved by OG, which earned the main money prize in the sum of $11,234,158.

The last Major tournament has been over recently, on the outcome of which all participants, which received direct invites, have become known. 18 teams will totally take part in TI9, 6 of which will determine with the help of qualifiers in six divisions.
