BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 starts today
Astralis, ENCE eSports, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, MIBR, and Ninjas in Pyjamas will divide the prize pool in the sum of $250,000.
The BLAST Pro Series tournaments are famous for being hosted in the unusual way. Unlike standard championships, only 6 teams compete, which are seeded in one group, after which only two teams advance to the playoffs and the grand final, consequently.
The teams to place third-fourth on the outcome of the group stage will play at BLAST Pro Standoff where will face in duels on five weapons: M4A1/M4A1-S, AK47, CZ75, AWP, and Desert Eagle. The winner of BLAST Pro Standoff will receive a monetary bonus in the sum of $20,000.
The debut of the famous host who is famous for her activity in League of Legends, Eefje ‘Sjokz’ Depoorter, will be a remarkable event of the tournament. She will lead the analysing process in the studio and will work for the CS:GO audience for the first time.
