The semifinals of the BLAST Open London 2025 Finals kicked off today. In the first match, Team Vitality faced MOUZ, where the French squad secured a 2–0 victory and advanced to the grand final, where they will face the winner of G2 vs FURIA.

Mirage (13:7 Vitality)

The opening map of the series was Mirage, MOUZ’s pick. The first half ended 8–4 in favor of Team Vitality. Despite Spinx’s efforts — finishing the map with 14/9 K/D, +4.16% Swing, and a 1.41 rating — it wasn’t enough to shift the momentum. Vitality closed out the map with a 13:7 scoreline.

Inferno (13:8 Vitality)

The second map, Inferno, was Team Vitality’s pick. The first half ended evenly at 6–6, leaving no clear favorite. However, once MOUZ switched to the T side, their attack fell apart. Poor coordination and an unstable economy opened the door for Vitality to take control and close out the map 13–8.

Match MVP

The best player of the series was Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, who consistently helped his team secure crucial rounds. He finished the match with a 1.38 rating and +3.51% Swing, further strengthening his chances of becoming the MVP of the tournament.

After the match, MOUZ thanked their fans for the support with a post on their official X account.

Tournament Implications

For MOUZ, the tournament ends in 3rd–4th place, earning them $40,000 and 1 Freq. Flyer Token. Team Vitality, meanwhile, advance to the grand final to face the winner of G2 vs FURIA.

It’s worth noting that considering Vitality’s recent successes — having won the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 — this is their first final in 76 days (3–4th place at IEM Cologne 2025, 3–4th place at BLAST Bounty S2, and 4th place at the Esports World Cup 2025). The BLAST Open London 2025 Finals runs from September 5–7, with the champion taking home $150,000 and 3 Freq. Flyer Tokens.
