Legacy secured a convincing 2–0 victory over Monte in a match of ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 2. The Brazilian squad controlled the series on both maps — Dust2 and Ancient — improving their position in the group, while Monte are now one step away from elimination.

Despite Monte’s attempts to close the gap, the Brazilian side maintained their lead and secured the map 13–10, taking the first step toward winning the series.

On Ancient, Legacy’s dominance became even more evident. The team played confidently on both the T and CT sides, consistently shutting down Monte ’s attempts to build momentum. Thanks to their stable performance and a strong run of rounds, the Brazilians quickly created a comfortable lead and closed the map 13–6, finishing the match with a 2–0 series victory.

For Monte, the match was crucial, but after the loss they fall into the 0–2 bracket, where another defeat in their next match will eliminate them from the tournament. ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 2 runs from March 6 to March 10, with 16 teams competing for playoff spots, while the remaining eight teams will share $185,000 in prize money.
