Astralis came out on top in a tense best-of-three battle against NAVI, winning 2:1 in Group A at IEM Chengdu 2025. The Danish team claimed victory on their map pick, Nuke, dropped Mirage, but sealed the deal on the decisive Inferno to advance to the Upper Bracket Semifinals. Despite the loss, b1t was named the best player of the match with a 1.13 rating.

Nuke (16:13 Astralis)

The match began on Astralis’ pick, Nuke. Starting on the T side, the Danish squad had a slight advantage, but NAVI managed to slow their momentum and narrow the score to 7:5. The second half was closely contested — Astralis reached map point, but NAVI forced overtime. However, Astralis held their nerve and closed out the map 16:13.

Mirage (10:13 NAVI)

The victorious Mirage started poorly for NAVI, as Astralis took a 6:0 lead with solid economy and control. Yet, NAVI managed to recover on their T side, mounting an impressive comeback to take the map and level the series 1-1.

Inferno (16:12 Astralis)

The decider on Inferno was a real battle. The first half was evenly matched, with Astralis gaining a slight edge on the CT side. Although NAVI once again pushed the map into overtime, Astralis completely dominated the extra rounds, closing it out 16:12.

Match MVP

Despite the defeat, b1t was named the MVP of the match with an ADR of 81.3 and a 1.13 rating.
