
FURIA crush Falcons 2–0 and prepare to challenge Vitality in the IEM Chengdu 2025 Grand Final
FURIA confidently defeated Falcons 2–0 (13:5 Inferno, 13:11 Mirage) in the semifinals of IEM Chengdu 2025 to advance to the grand final. The Brazilians showcased aggressive yet disciplined gameplay, with yuurih emerging as the standout performer and leading his team to a well-deserved shot at the title against Vitality.
Inferno (13:5 FURIA)
Inferno was FURIA’s map pick. The Brazilian squad started on the CT side, where Falcons struggled to impose their style, winning only two rounds. Switching to the T side, FURIA kept up the pressure and comfortably closed out their map pick 13:5.
Mirage (13:11 FURIA)
On their own pick, Falcons showed a stronger performance. They managed to dictate the pace early on and ended the first half with a narrow 7:5 lead. Once sides switched, FURIA reached match point, but Falcons fought back, nearly forcing overtime. However, FURIA held their ground and sealed the map 13:11 to complete the sweep.
