OG, Vitality and NAVI made it to the playoffs of BLAST Premier World Final 2022 from group B

The group B meeting has come to an end, as a result of which the teams OG , Vitality and NaVi advanced to the playoffs of BLAST Premier World Final 2022. In turn, the Danish team Heroic suffered two defeats in the quartet, going on an early vacation on the last line. But the sensations did not end there, as OG managed to directly get into the semi-finals, while Vitality and NAVI went to the quarter-finals.

Heroic

The first meeting of the second day of group B started on the map Inferno, which became the choice of the "Born to Win". At the same time, the Ukrainian team started tearing at their opponent, showing a confident attack. In turn, Heroic failed to adapt to the tempo in defense, getting defeated - 11:4. After switching sides, the Danes tried to return to the server, but it turned out to be too late. As a result, NAVI confidently brought the matter to victory and took the lead in the series — 16:10.

Next, the teams moved to the map Ancient, which turned out to be the choice of Heroic. Here the situation turned upside down, as the Danish team already controlled the course of the match and spun up to a twofold advantage after the half in the attack — 10:5. After the switch of sides, NAVI didn't come up with anything in the attack, while Heroic quickly got the necessary rounds and switched the series to the deader — 16:8.

Everything was decided on the map Nuke, the first half of which ended with a good advantage for the "Born to Win". In the second half, the Ukrainian team managed to quickly run ahead, but Heroic was almost enough for a comeback. And yet, in the very end, NAVI managed to take the decisive rounds and snatch victory in the series — 16:14.

OG-Vitality

The last meeting of the group stage of the championship started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of OG. At the same time, the European team managed to show a good attack in order to get a minimal advantage over the opponent — 8:7. After switching sides, the teams continued to exchange series of rounds, but in the very end, OG managed to hold back the opponent and took the lead in the series — 16:14.

Next, the teams moved to the Mirage map, which turned out to be the choice of Vitality. However, here OG continued to bend its line, managing to show exemplary defense in order to get a twofold advantage - 10:5. After the change of sides, the Danish-French team still tried to join the fight, but the backlog turned out to be too significant. In turn, OG managed to wake up in order to hold out to the bitter end and get into the semi-finals of the tournament — 16:9.

BLAST Premier World Final 2022 takes place from December 14 to 18 in Abu Dhabi at the Etihad Arena. As part of the championship, eight teams from Europe, the CIS and North America are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
