The G2 Esports team defeated FaZe Clan with a score of 2:0 and reached the grand final of BLAST Premier World Final 2022. Here the European team will meet with Team Liquid, which turned out to be stronger than OG in its semi-finals. In turn, FaZe Clan left the championship, taking 3rd-4th place and earning a prize of $85,000.

The second semi-final of the tournament started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of G2 Esports. At the same time, at the start of the meeting, the "samurai" practically did not succeed, while FaZe Clan hastily developed the advantage. Nevertheless, towards the end of the first half, NiKo and the company managed to knock out a comfortable minimum — 9:6. After the side switch, the game became more even as the teams breathed into each other's backs. At some point, FaZe Clan had excellent chances to close the map. But suddenly G2 Esports managed a quick round with pistols to turn the game around. In the end, jks finished off the opponent with a clutch, allowing his team to take the lead in the series — 16:14.

Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which turned out to be the choice of FaZe Clan. At the same time, the wards of RobbaN began to correct their situation, demonstrating a confident and swift attack. In turn, G2 Esports was slowly failing in defense in order to reach a devastating score — 11:4. Here FaZe Clan thought it was done and let go of the game. However, NiKo and the company quickly caught the courage to make an unbearable comeback and close the meeting in their favor — 16:13.

BLAST Premier World Final 2022 takes place from December 14 to 18 in Abu Dhabi at the Etihad Arena. As part of the championship, eight teams from Europe, the CIS and North America are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
