The general information
BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Regular Season starts on January 31 and will be over on February 16. Participants will include the representatives of organizations, which have managed to buy a spot in BLAST Premier 2020.
All matches of BLAST Premier Spring 2020 will be hosted offline. 3 Mills Studio in London, England will be a venue for matches.
The format
When 12 teams take part in the championship, they are usually divided into 2 groups with 6 teams in each one. RFRSH Entertainment decided to go to another way and divided 12 participants into 3 groups with 4 teams in each one. There, they will fight in bo3 matches both in the upper and lower bracket. In such a way, they will determine the top two participants in every quartet.
FaZe Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Liquid, and MIBR got in Group A. Natus Vincere, Team VItality, Astralis, and Complexity Gaming will play in Group B and 100 Thieves, G2 Esports, Evil Geniuses, and OG will fight for entering the top six in Group C. The top two participants of each group will receive invitations to BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Finals where a larger prize pool will be up for grabs, namely, $750,000.
The prize pool
The overall prize pool of the regular season BLAST Premier Spring 2020 will amount $300,000. Winners of the groups will receive solid money rewards, while teams to place second will become the owners of less impressive prizes. The particular sums are not announced. Both finalists in every group will receive invitations to BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Finals where, as it was said earlier, $750,000 will be up for grabs. The rest six teams, which don’t make it to BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Finals, will fight in BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Showdown where $325,000 and two invitations to BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Finals will be up for grabs. Four more teams, which will be announced later, will join six teams.
Broadcasting
Maincast will be broadcasting for the Russian audience on the blastpremier_ru channel with the help of Winstrike.
