Results in the ranking season
Tour 1
The first part of the season can be described as a warm-up for the young OG roster. DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I the club finished 4-3 in 4th place. The team could not beat Team Liquid, Tundra Esports and Team Tickles, who are now known as Gaimin Gladiators. In addition to 60 DPC points and $26,000, Misha and the team received a slot for the DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final. Valve decided to hold separate tournaments for each region, which were supposed to replace the first Major of the year. The COVID-19 pandemic was still raging around the world.
As a result of the draw, Team Liquid became the first opponent of OG. MATUMBAMAN and the team beat the legendary tag with a score of 2:0 without any problems. OG players managed only 16 kills on two maps and went to the lower bracket. The next opponent of the two-time world champions was the Tundra Esports team. The teams were able to pick up one map in the series and move on to the decisive 3rd map. OG ran over Fata and the team with a score of 23:5. Bzm, Misha and ATF never died in that fight. Thus, OG reached the semi-finals of the losers' bracket. Unfortunately, the match against Gaimin Gladiators was their last. The team lost with a score of 0:2 and left the tournament. 3rd place in the DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final brought the team $15,000, but Yuragi and his teammates were left without ranking points.
Tour 2
The second round of the current DPC season was the culmination of OG's performance with the new roster. In DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I, Yuragi and the team won 6 matches, losing only to Team Secret with a score of 1:2. With this dominance, the famous European club earned $30,000 and 400 DPC points for the first place in the tournament.
OG went to ESL One Stockholm 2022 in excellent morale. Due to the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, Misha and Chuvash did not reach Stockholm. The replacements were Ceb, who played in the 5th position, and N0tail, who became the coach of the squad. The debut match at the Major OG lost to TSM in a long match with a score of 0:2. Not the best start to the main tournament in May. But the main thing is yet to come. Following the precepts of the former Team Liquid roster, now known as Nigma Galaxy, Ceb and his young colleagues went through the entire lower bracket. The club defeated BOOM Esports, Fnatic, Thunder Awaken, Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra Esports. At the same time, only Fnatic managed to take one card from the future champions of the Major. In the grand finals, OG met in a rematch with TSM. After losing the first map, Ceb and the team made a comeback and won the series 3-1. It is worth noting the filigree performance of Ceb. The two-time retired The International champion has shown that he can still play Dota 2 at an exceptional level. OG received the top prize of $200,000 and 680 DPC points. By the 3rd round, the team had already managed to accumulate 1140 DPC points, just a little bit was not enough for a trip to The International 2022.
Tour 3
OG held the 3rd round of the DPC season similarly to the first. 5-2 statistics within DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I ensured the 3rd place for the club. In the tiebreaker for 2nd-3rd place, OG lost to Team Liquid on two maps in a row without much resistance. Yuragi and the team have earned $27,000 and 200 DPC points, which has already guaranteed them a place in the Dota 2 World Championship this year.
PGL Arlington Major OG finished the group stage with a 3-3-2 record, losing to Outsiders and PSG.LGD. 3rd place allowed the team to reach the upper bracket of the playoffs. The team was replenished again by Ceb, who replaces Misha. Yuragi and the team played the first match of the final stage against Entity, having won with a score of 2:1. OG lost to PSG.LGD in a competitive confrontation and went to the lower bracket. The team narrowly outplayed Beastcoast. An impenetrable test at the Major for Ceb and the team was Team Aster, to whom OG lost with a score of 1:2. The team took 4th place, which allowed them to earn $50,000 and 590 DPC points.
At the end of the DPC 2021/2022 season, OG scored a total of 1930 DPC points, which ensured them the 2nd place in the ranking.
Results in third-party tournaments
In addition to the main season, OG took part in 3 championships from third-party tournament operators. The first was the March GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. At the end of the gaming season, the European team played at Riyadh Masters 2022 and ESL One Malaysia 2022.

Let's take a closer look at ESL One Malaysia 2022, the last tournament for OG at the moment before the start of The International 2022. OG played with a replacement in the person of Chuvash, who took the place of Misha. Once in Group B, the European team confidently won it with the statistics 3-1-1. The semi-final of the upper bracket OG lost to Team Secret with a score of 1:2. In the lower bracket, Yuragi and his teammates defeated Thunder Awaken and Fnatic in tense duels. As of the last game day of the tournament, OG managed to play well and without any problems defeated Team Secret in a rematch with a score of 2:0, and then left no chance for Team Aster, winning a bo5 series on 3 maps. The championship at ESL One Malaysia 2022 brought the team $175,000.
Current line-up
OG unveiled their current roster in November 2021. It contained young players with little experience playing in professional teams. Chuvash became the coach.
The OG roster is shown below:
- Yuragi
- bzm
- ATF
- Taiga
- Misha
The younger generation of the legendary organization is showing a great season. They can rightly be called worthy heirs of the previous roster. But part of the achievement was due to the participation of Ceb. It is worth noting the excellent performance of bzm. But on the negative side, a rather modest pool of heroes from ATF stands out, as well as an unstable game from Yuragi. OG will go to The International 2022 as one of the favorites. Will OG win the third The International? Maybe. But the team must take a place in the top 4.
Recall that The International 2022 will be held from October 15 to 30 this year in a LAN format. The venue will be Suntec Singapore and Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The top 20 teams from around the world will compete for the biggest prize pool of the year, which is determined by the sales of the Battle Pass 2022.
