All participants of The International 2022 have been determined

The last qualifier for The International 2022 has ended. As a result of The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier, Team Secret and Team Liquid became participants in the Dota 2 World Championship. Thus, all the teams that will compete at the main esports event of the year became known. Earlier we wrote how the last participant of The International was determined .

This year, the distribution of slots by region looks interesting. Initially, many assumed that the largest representation of clubs from the Celestial Empire, the strongest region on the professional Dota 2 scene, would be the largest. But in practice it turned out somewhat differently.

Distribution of teams by region:

  • Western Europe - 6 teams
  • China - 3 teams
  • Southeast Asia - 3 teams
  • North America - 3 teams
  • South America - 3 teams
  • Eastern Europe - 2 teams
