BLAST Slam VII Qualifiers Results
From April 2 to April 3, 2026, the BLAST Slam VII Qualifiers took place, and as a result, four teams secured slots for the main tournament.
In Europe, Aurora Gaming and PV qualified, in China, Xtreme Gaming, and in Southeast Asia, GLYPH.
The most competitive matches were in RES Unchained 4: BLAST Slam VII Europe Closed Qualifier, as among the eight participants there were four Tier-1 teams. In the China Qualifier, the most notable matches were the Semifinals between Vici Gaming and Yakult Brothers, where the latter won 2–1, and the Grand Final, where Xtreme Gaming defeated Yakult Brothers 2–0. The most unexpected results occurred in RES Unchained 4: BLAST Slam VII Southeast Asia Closed Qualifier, where Nemesis and REKONIX were considered favorites, but GLYPH unexpectedly claimed victory.
GLYPH is a newly formed team that includes well-known players such as Emo and zeal. GLYPH have already won EPL World Series: Southeast Asia Season 13, and thanks to their victory in this qualifier, they will play in their first Tier-1 tournament.
BLAST Slam VII will take place from May 26 to June 7, 2026, and will be held in a combined format, where the Group Stage and Last Chance Qualifier will be played online, while the LAN playoffs will take place in Copenhagen. The tournament will bring together 12 top teams, including Team Liquid, Tundra Esports, and OG, who will compete for the championship title and a prize pool of $1 million.
