When we opened this new project last year, we dreamed of returning to The International in search of glory, and we are happy that we achieved this together with you.
The Peruvian roster of Thunder Awaken has existed since October 2021. Since that time, the team has managed to earn fame as the TOP-1 team in the South American region: Thunder won DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division 1, DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final, DPC 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division 1 and DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division 1.
In addition to dominance in the home league, Thunder Awaken were regular participants in major tournaments: the team took TOP-6 at ESL One Stockholm 2022 and TOP-16 at PGL Arlington Major 2022. The last tournament for the five Peruvians under the banner of Thunder was The International 2022, where the team became the first representative of South America to reach the TOP-6 stage.

The fate of two players from the roster is known - DarkMago and Sacred will play for Beastcoast next season. As for Pakazs, Matthew and Pandaboo, their fate is not yet known.
