OneThree.TSG and Rising-Stars qualified for IEM Katowice 2020
Ihor MatusOneThree.TSG and Rising-Stars became the first known participants of the Asian closed qualifier at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2020. They will be joined by 4 more invited teams and two best participants of the second open Asian qualifying round.
Recall that recently, two ex-Gambit Esports players: Dosia and mou, joined OneThree.TSG. Despite this, the squad performed without these e-sportsmen.
Closed Asian qualifications for IEM Katowice 2020 will be held from January 7 to 9. Within its framework, one invite to the LAN finals will be played.
Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2020 will be held from February 25 to March 1 in Katowice, Poland. The venue for the playoff stage will be Spodek Arena, and the tournament’s total prize pool will be $ 500,000. The winner will receive a major cash prize of $ 250,000. Fnatic, Astralis and mousesports have already secured invitations to the championship thanks to their victories at DreamHack Masters Malmo 2019, Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2019 and ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals, respectively. They will be joined by 7 invited participants and 6 teams that will go through qualifications.
