Heroic eliminated MIBR with a clean 2–0 victory in the first round of the lower bracket at IEM Cologne 2025. The Scandinavian squad dominated both maps with back-to-back 10:2 CT halves and closed out Train and Ancient without giving MIBR a chance to recover. Swedish rifler yxngstxr led the server with a 1.42 rating and 89.9 ADR, while Belarusian support tN1R posted a 1.31 rating and impactful site holds. MIBR exit the event in 13–16th place, while Heroic move on to face Virtus.pro next.

Map 1 – Train (13:6 Heroic)

MIBR’s map pick backfired early as Heroic locked down the CT side for a 10:2 half. yxngstxr posted a 4K with the M4A1-S on B site and ended the map with a +13 K/D. On the T side, Heroic closed out comfortably despite a short resistance from insani, who led MIBR with 22 kills and a 1.48 rating overall. tN1R added a 4K anchor hold on A to shut down MIBR’s late push.

Map 2 – Ancient (13:4 Heroic)

Heroic’s pick was even more one-sided. They repeated the 10:2 CT half, shutting down MIBR’s default-heavy attacks. gr1ks posted a clean 91.7% KAST across the map, while nilo and LNZ delivered multi-kill rounds to seal the win. MIBR struggled to get any opening duels, with only insani again finishing positive on the scoreboard.

Heroic move forward to face Virtus.pro in lower bracket round 2. MIBR join B8 and Complexity among the first eliminated teams, each taking home $2,500. Other matches today include Liquid vs FlyQuest and 3DMAX vs TYLOO.
