FlyQuest edged past B8 in a narrow 2–1 series during the lower bracket round 1 at IEM Cologne 2025. The international lineup recovered after losing Mirage to win Dust2 and Inferno, eliminating B8 from the tournament. Romanian AWPer regali was the MVP with a 1.25 rating, 84.1% KAST, and a +26 K/D differential. FlyQuest now advance to face Liquid in their next elimination match.

Map 1 – Dust2 (13:10 FlyQuest)

FlyQuest picked Dust2 and trailed 4:8 at the half, but turned it around with a dominant 9:2 CT side. regali and nettik delivered strong individual rounds, with nettik posting 4 headshots on B site to halt a B8 rush. Despite an early lead, B8 couldn’t find entries on T side and fell short in late-round trades.

Map 2 – Mirage (13:11 B8)

B8 selected Mirage and won the first half 7:5. The second half remained close, but esenthial and npl helped close it out with consistent trades and retakes. FlyQuest had opportunities, but their late executes stalled, and B8 took the map 13:11. regali was still top-fragging despite the loss, while esenthial contributed a key 1v3 clutch to stay alive.

Map 3 – Inferno (19:16 FlyQuest)

Inferno was left as the decider and went the distance. FlyQuest had an 8:4 lead, but B8 brought it to overtime with esenthial clutching a 1v3. In the extra rounds, Vexite pulled off a low-HP 1v2, and jks sealed the map with a 4K hold on A. FlyQuest outlasted B8 19:16 to close the series.

FlyQuest move on to face Liquid in lower bracket round 2. B8 are eliminated from IEM Cologne 2025 in 13–16th place. Other elimination matches today include Virtus.pro vs Heroic and 3DMAX vs TYLOO.
