FUT secured a comeback victory over G2 with a 2–1 scoreline in the decisive ESL Pro League S23 Stage 2 match, earning a spot in the tournament playoffs. After losing the opening map, the team managed to turn the series around by winning Dust2 and Overpass in a hard-fought battle.

The match started on Mirage, where G2 had the advantage from the opening rounds. They managed to win the first half 8:4. After the side switch, FUT failed to mount a comeback and eventually lost their own map with a 13:4 scoreline.
The first half of Dust2 was very close. Both teams traded rounds and finished the half tied 6:6. After switching sides, FUT managed to gain momentum on the T side and closed out Dust2 with a narrow 13:11 victory.
The decider on Overpass was just as tense. Despite G2 leading 8:4 in the first half, they lost control of the map on their T side. FUT capitalized on this and completed the comeback, winning the map 13:11.

The best player of the match was MATYS, who finished the series with a 1.33 rating, delivering a standout individual performance. Despite his team’s loss, he still earned the MVP title thanks to his consistent impact and strong statistics throughout the series.
