
3DMAX Defeat TYLOO 2–0 to Qualify for IEM Cologne 2025 Group Stage
3DMAX secured a 2–0 victory over TYLOO in the decisive match for a spot in the Group Stage of IEM Cologne 2025. The series was highlighted by stellar performances from Lucky and Jee, who posted the best stats on their teams.
Map 1 – Inferno (22:20 3DMAX)
TYLOO picked Inferno, which turned out to be an intense and closely contested map. Both teams traded sides with a 7–5 scoreline, forcing the match into overtime. The action escalated as both sides took turns gaining the upper hand, and the winner remained uncertain until the final moments. Ultimately, 3DMAX edged ahead with a 22–20 win. Lucky played a crucial role, finishing with 36 kills and a 1.16 rating.
Map 2 – Ancient (13:10 3DMAX)
Ancient was 3DMAX’s pick and worked out well for them. Despite losing the first half 3–9, they came back in dominant fashion, crushing TYLOO 10–1 in the second half and closing the map 13–10. Both teams showed inconsistency, punishing each other for every mistake. Once again, Lucky stood out with 23 kills and a 1.59 rating.
With this win, 3DMAX move on to the IEM Cologne 2025 Group Stage, while TYLOO are eliminated from the tournament in 17th–20th place.
