Aurora go 1–1 after beating FaZe and falling to FURIA – Austin Major Stage 3 Results

Aurora’s Stage 3 campaign at the BLAST.tv Austin Major opened with a dominant 13–5 victory over FaZe Clan on Anubis. Their T-side control led to a 10–2 first half, anchored by an error-free performance from XANTARES. FaZe struggled to find footing across both halves, with only s1mple managing to trade evenly on kills. Key rounds included a 1v3 clutch from frozen and a knife kill by Wicadia on s1mple in Round 9.

Aurora’s win over FaZe was built on consistency and momentum. XANTARES posted a 2.20 rating with 23 frags and 100% KAST. Wicadia added 17 kills of his own, while MAJ3R and jottAAA held steady. FaZe, by contrast, saw rain and karrigan combine for just 13 kills total. Their map veto left them with Anubis, which clearly favored the Turkish side.

In Round 2, Aurora faced FURIA on Dust2 and were overrun 13–7. The Kazakh rifler molodoy dismantled Aurora’s defense with 22 kills and a 1.92 rating.
