On June 20, 2025, the playoff stage of the BLAST.tv Major Austin began with a shocking result as The MongolZ defeated FaZe Clan 2–0 in a best-of-three series. The Mongolian squad delivered a confident and composed performance, eliminating the powerful European international team and advancing to the semifinals of the tournament.
The match began on Mirage, where The MongolZ secured a 13–9 win through strong coordination and key individual plays. The second map, Anubis, was more closely contested, but MongolZ managed to edge out FaZe with a 13–11 victory, closing the series without needing a third map.
Statistically, 910 was the standout player of the series, finishing with a 40–25 K/D and an impressive 1.35 rating. Senzu also contributed significantly, recording a 35–27 K/D and a 1.19 rating. Their aggressive yet disciplined playstyle proved too much for FaZe to counter.
