Team Liquid and FaZe Clan got their first wins at the BLAST Premier World Final 2022 group stage, thanks to which they secured a place in the playoffs of the competition. Now they have to hold a face-to-face meeting in order to play a direct hit in the semi-finals. In turn, Outsiders and G2 Esports will play the last slot in the championship playoffs from Group A.

Outsiders-Team Liquid

The first match of the championship started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the North American team. However, here the Outsiders players very quickly seized the initiative, taking control of the situation. As a result, dastan's wards showed a confident half in defense in order to complete the rout - 13:2. After the change of sides, the North Americans began to correct their position, closing the gap. And yet, in the end, the Outsiders managed to get the necessary rounds to take the lead in the series - 16:10.

The teams then moved on to Anubis, which unexpectedly turned out to be the Outsiders' choice. However, Team Liquid quickly took control of the game to ensure a strong head start. And yet, towards the end of the first half, the Russian team managed to get closer to the opponent, taking six rounds - 9:6. However, after the side switch, the intrigue quickly disappeared from the server, as Team Liquid showed a lightning attack and put the opponent on the shoulder blades. As a result, the North American team confidently closed the opponent's pick and equalized the score in the series — 16:8.

Everything was decided on the Mirage map, where the "liquids" continued to bend their line and showed an excellent attack in order to get a twofold advantage - 10:5. After the switch of sides, the Outsiders never managed to recover, while Team Liquid played well on defense and got their first victory in the championship — 16:8.

FaZe Clan-G2

The next confrontation started on the map Nuke, which became the choice of G2. Here NiKo and the company began to correct for the failures in the previous championships, showing an excellent attack. In turn, FaZe Clan showed a rather modest defense, taking only seven rounds for the strong side — 8:7. After the side switch, RobbaN's men completely disappeared from the server, while G2 quickly seized the initiative to bring the matter to a victorious end — 16:10.

Then the teams moved to the Inferno map, which turned out to be the choice of FaZe Clan. Here G2 continued to demonstrate a strong game, but now RobbaN's men managed to get the most out of their attack and get a minimal advantage at the close of the first half — 8:7. After switching sides, the teams continued to exchange rounds until FaZe Clan ran ahead. However, in the very end, the G2 players managed to snatch the initiative from the hands of the opponent in order to reach the overtimes. Here FaZe Clan didn't let go of the opponent to reach the series desider — 19:17.

Everything was decided on the map Ancient, where FaZe Clan took advantage of the start on defense and provided themselves with a comfortable backlog — 13:2. After the side switch, the G2 players failed to come to their senses, while FaZe Clan got the necessary rounds for the attack and won the final victory in the series — 16:4.
