General information
BLAST Pro Series Moscow is the fifth BPS tournament in 2019. The total prize pool will traditionally be a quarter of a million dollars while the biggest prize the participants in the championship will be fighting for is $125,000.
The tournament will be held in the capital of Russia and the holding place of the championship will be «CSKA Arena». Six teams will take part in the event and three of them have got direct invitations and two became owners of Wild Card invitations. The sixth participant will be defined by the results of CIS Play-In held on the first day of holding BLAST Pro Series Moscow. MIBR, Natus Vincere, and NiP became owners of direct invitations from the organizers while ENCE and Vitality will have the right to play thanks to Wild Card invitations. AVANGAR and forZe will fight at CIS Play-In.
Holding format
The format of BLAST Pro Series will be the one we are used to. All the teams will get to one group where they will play by Round Robin. Two best participants will be fighting for the lion's share part of the the prize money at the grand final whole two teams will oppose to each other at BLAST Pro Standoffs. There will be duels with five different kinds of weapon: M4A4/M4A1-S, Desert Eagle, AK47, CZ75 and AWP. The winner of BLAST Pro Standoffs will gain a special prize of $20,000. One of the participants will be chosen by the results of the group stage and the other — by the results of Audience Choice Award voting. The grand final will be held in the best-of-3 series.
Prize pool division
The main prize pool of $250,000 and 30 BPS Points will be shared by six teams in the following way:
1 place: $125,000 and 10 BPS points
2 place: $50,000 and 8 BPS points
3 place: $25,000 and 6 BPS points
4 place: $15,000 and 4 BPS points
5 place: $10,000 and 2 BPS points
6 place: $5,000
Tournament broadcast
Adam Savage is going to be the main host and the broadcast at the analytics studio will be done by Tres ‘stunna’ Saranthus.
Frankie Ward will perform as an interviewer again. The matches will be analyzed by Jacob ‘Pimp’ Winneche, Halvor ‘vENdetta’ Gulestol, Mathieu ‘Maniac’ Quiquerez, and Christine ‘potter’ Chi. We will observe the battles commented by such famous people as James Bardolph, Daniel ‘ddk’ Kapadia, Conner ‘Scrawny’ Girvan, Mohan ‘launders’ Govindasamy, Harry ‘JustHarry’ Russell, and Hugo Byron.
Observers David ‘prius’ "DJ" Kunt, Heather ‘sapphiRe’ Garozzo, and Efren ‘encg’ Chuon will help us not to miss any important moment of matches.
