The final stage of the group stage is in full swing. Yesterday the second day of elimination matches was played, and we are ready to tell you how the teams were doing in the past meetings.
Results of the sixth game day of the Worlds 2020 group stage
Yesterday, teams from Group B played for the playoffs. Each team played three bo1 series, during which we learned the names of the clubs that passed on and those who left the World Cup.
In the first round, DAMWON Gaming beat PSG Talon, while Rogue lost to JD Gaming. In the second round, the Europeans from Rogue suffered their second defeat, losing to DAMWON Gaming, while PSG Talon earned their first victory in the match against JD Gaming. In the final round, Rogue suffered their third defeat in a row, losing to PSG Talon, and DAMWON missed out on a win against JD Gaming for the first time.
Thus, Rogue was knocked out of the tournament taking 13-16th place, and JD Gaming finished their performance at 9-12th place. DAMWON and JD Gaming went to the playoffs. Worlds 2020 matches will continue today. At 11:00 Moscow time, we will see the games of group C.
