Worlds 2020 Group Stage: Day 2 Digest

Add as a Preferred Source

Slowly but surely, the first stage of the group stage is coming to an end. Yesterday we watched 12 teams from three groups perform and are ready to share the results with you.

Results of the second game day of the Worlds 2020 group stage

In Group A, the teams have just started the group stage. Machi, Team Liquid, Suning and G2 had their opening matches. In the first meeting, the Taiwanese team turned out to be stronger than their rivals from North America, and in the second match, G2 defeated the Chinese grand.

Group B delighted with games Rogue, DAMWON, PLG.Talon and JD. DAMWON predictably beat Rogue, while PSG.Talon lost to JD.

In group C, the situation is heating up. Gen.G earned a second victory against TSM, but the North American team already has two defeats to their credit. In the second match Fnatic lost to LGD and now both teams have 1-1 stats.

The continuation of the group stage will begin, as usual, at 11:00 Moscow time. We support teams and cheer for our favorites together.
