Yesterday was the final day of the Worlds 2020 group stage. At the end of the games, we learned the names of those who made it to the playoffs and those who will go home.

Results of the eighth gaming day of Worlds 2020

The teams from Group D were honored to close the Worlds 2020 group stage. In the first round, DRX beat FlyQuest, while Unicorns of Love lost to Top Esports.

The second round also began with a loss to UOL, this time to DRX. In turn, FlyQuest managed to beat Top Esports.

FlyQuest and Unicorns of Love and Top Esports faced DRX in the final matches. FlyQuest won the first match, and Top Esports won the second.

Thus, Unicorns of Love and FlyQuest left the championship. The CIS-team repeated the fate of Team Solomid and left Worlds 2020 in 13-16th place without a single victory in the group stage, and FlyQuest lacked one victory to advance further. The team from North America finished in 9th-12th place.

Top Esports and DRX will continue their fight in the playoffs. They were the last teams to complete the Worlds 2020 main stage grid.
