Ex-Los Ratones Core Reunites Under New Tag Witchcraft for One Last Split
Following the disbandment of the team after the LEC Verus 2026 tournament, the core of the popular mix Los Ratones has joined forces once again. The players will compete under a new organization called Witchcraft and participate in the EMEA Masters Winter Split.
The team secured the 4th seed from the NLC regional league. One of the key goals for the new roster is to qualify for the major international tournament, the Esports World Cup (EWC). To secure this spot, the squad needs to finish at least in 2nd place at the upcoming championship.
The core of the team remains practically identical to Los Ratones, and currently, the roster looks as follows:
Current Witchcraft Roster:
- Top: Bwipo
- Jungle: Velja
- Mid: Nemesis
- ADC: Crownie
- Support: Rekkles
Coaching Staff and Substitutes:
- Coaches: Yamato, Shaves
- Substitute: Sanchovies (to be confirmed)
The only significant change is the top lane position. Initially, the team reached out to Thebausffs with an offer to continue playing together, but he kept his word and declined, confirming that he is completely done with his professional career. As a result, the vacant top lane spot was taken by the experienced Bwipo.
Regarding organizational aspects and other members of the previous mix, Caedrel will not be able to actively participate in the team's operations due to his involvement in other plans. However, as Nemesis stated, he plans to watch the matches and provide moral support to the squad.
The esports athletes themselves emphasize that Witchcraft is a short-term project. At the moment, there are no long-term plans for the future, and it is highly likely that this roster was assembled exclusively for a single competitive split.
