Top Esports Defeat Bilibili Gaming 2-1 and Eliminate Them from Worlds 2025
The second match was between the top 1 and top 2 teams of China after the LPL 2025 Split 3 — Bilibili Gaming vs Top Esports. On their home stage, both teams wanted to advance further in the tournament to lift the championship trophy in front of their home crowd. Let’s see what the teams showed us in this matchup.

- Top Esports: Rumble, Jarvan IV, Orianna, Lucian, Braum
- Bilibili Gaming: Ornn, Xin Zhao, Ziggs, Yunara, Neeko
Game 2 Picks:

The first game started actively for Top Esports, who worked well with the Jarvan IV and Braum combo. But already in the midgame, Bilibili Gaming turned the game around through their very dangerous combo of Ornn and Neeko. We saw so many great ultimates from these two champions that buried any chances for TES to realize their composition. Very confident play and a large number of well-made decisions from BLG brought them the first winning map.
The second map started more or less evenly, but TES looked much more confident on this one. It was reflected both in their draft for the second map and in the overall gameplay. The composition for Top Esports turned out to be very solid, and the champions’ skills in teamfights looked much better than BLG’s. On top of that, TES took all the Dragons. A confident and steady victory for Top Esports and a move to the third map.
The third game was full of constant comebacks, but there were big doubts about the reliability of TES’s draft. The composition was aimed at the late game, and if they had made a couple of mistakes, the map would have gone to BLG. However, in the fight for the fourth dragon, TES managed to win the fight, make an ACE, and immediately finish the game.
After this victory, Top Esports advance to the Knockout Stage. And for Bilibili Gaming, who took the top 1 in LPL, their only victories at this tournament were against Fnatic and VKS. And with that, their journey at Worlds 2025 comes to an end.
Reminder: The second week of the Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage runs from October 22–25. Teams that secure three wins advance to the Knockout Stage, while those with three losses are eliminated. Elimination and advancement matches are played in a Best-of-Three format with the Fearless Draft system.
