BLG Defeat Vivo Keyd Stars 2-0 and Eliminate Them from Worlds 2025
The first elimination match of the day featured Bilibili Gaming, the top seed from the LPL, facing off against Vivo Keyd Stars, the second seed from the LTA. For both teams, this series was crucial — but BLG entered as the clear favorites. Let’s take a look at how it all unfolded.
Game 1 Picks:
- Bilibili Gaming: Jax, Trundle, Ziggs, Kai`Sa, Neeko
- Vivo Keyd Stars: Ambessa, Qiyana, Azir, Varus, Karma
Game 1 Picks:
- Bilibili Gaming: Rumble, Xin Zhao, Leblanc, Corki, Poppy
- Vivo Keyd Stars: K`Sante, Wukong, Taliyah, Sivir, Bard
The first map was filled with an incredible number of mistakes from both sides. Teams made questionable tower dives, often dying for nothing in return. Poor coordination in teamfights and weak map control were evident on both ends. However, thanks to their superior skill and experience, Bilibili Gaming managed to secure the win on this map.
The second map looked much more competitive. Both teams played evenly and gave it their all throughout the match. But in the late game, Vivo Keyd Stars made a few critical mistakes. The first major one came when Mireu died in the enemy jungle near the bot lane — a death that opened multiple opportunities for BLG. Without their mid laner, it became nearly impossible for VKS to fight.
The final blow came when VKS, after securing two kills, tried to push further and either finish the game or break deeper into BLG’s base. However, their bot lane was heavily pushed in — something Bin (Rumble) immediately capitalized on with a teleport to the enemy base. While he destroyed structures, the rest of BLG delayed VKS’s recalls and held them back long enough to claim the victory.
With this win, Bilibili Gaming move up to a 2-2 record, giving them one last chance tomorrow to fight for a spot in the Knockout Stage. For Vivo Keyd Stars, however, Worlds 2025 comes to an end.
Reminder: The second week of the Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage runs from October 22–25. Teams that secure three wins advance to the Knockout Stage, while those with three losses are eliminated. Elimination and advancement matches are played in a Best-of-Three format with the Fearless Draft system.
