Team Spirit and Xtreme Gaming draw 1–1 in Group A clash at Esports World Cup 2025 (BO2)
Eastern Europe’s Team Spirit and China’s Xtreme Gaming opened their Esports World Cup 2025 run with a 1–1 draw in Group A, each side taking a map in a tightly contested best-of-two.
Spirit took Game 1 with confident teamfights and a 26–13 scoreline, but Xtreme responded with sharper coordination in Game 2, overpowering Spirit 37–23 to level the series.

After Day 1, Group A is perfectly balanced — all four teams (Talon, NaVi, Spirit, and Xtreme) sit at 1–1 in maps and 0-1-0 in series. July 9 will see Team Spirit take on Talon while Xtreme battle NaVi. The final group matches on July 10 will determine who reaches the playoffs, with only two spots up for grabs.
