PARIVISION Defeat Aurora Gaming 2-1 in the Quarterfinals of Dota 2 EWC 2025
In the second match of the opening day of the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2025 Playoffs, PARIVISION claimed a 2-1 victory over Aurora Gaming, advancing to the Semifinals of the tournament.
The match followed a best-of-three format, with both teams playing all three maps and delivering an exciting display of competitive Dota 2.
The skill gap became evident right from the first map. PARIVISION drafted brilliantly — picking Sven as the carry, who finished with a 13-1 KDA, and Void Spirit in midlane, who dominated his lane and ended the game 9-1. It was a one-sided win for PARIVISION, who closed the game 28-6 in just 32 minutes.
On the second map, Aurora Gaming responded with a much stronger performance. Improved hero drafting and a solid laning phase paid off, and the team managed to equalize the series. The map ended 25-15 in Aurora's favor after 39 minutes of gameplay.
The decider turned out to be the most intense. PARIVISION demonstrated why they are considered one of the top teams this Dota 2 season. From the start, they controlled the tempo of the game, executing smart rotations and flawless teamfights thanks to picks like Batrider and Beastmaster.
The defining moment came with a Roshan take at the 28-minute mark, after which PARIVISION aggressively pushed the enemy high ground and secured a decisive victory. The final game ended 22-6 in 35 minutes.
With this win, PARIVISION advance to the Semifinals of Dota 2 EWC 2025, where they will face Team Spirit on July 18.
