Team Spirit wins Team Falcons 3–0 in Esports World Cup 2025 Grand Final (BO5)
Team Spirit (Eastern Europe) dominated Team Falcons (MENA) 3–0 in the Grand Final of the Esports World Cup 2025, capping off a perfect playoff run with a clean sweep to lift the trophy in Riyadh.
Game 1 set the tone right away. Spirit’s cores came out swinging, with Larl’s Queen of Pain and Collapse on Primal Beast tearing through Falcons’ attempts to stabilize. Yatoro’s flawless Beastmaster pushed nonstop, and Spirit closed the map in under 36 minutes with a massive 35k gold lead.
In Game 2, it was all about Larl again—this time on Monkey King. He dominated the midlane matchup and rolled into the midgame with clean rotations. Collapse’s Dawnbreaker brought global pressure, and Miposhka’s control on Clockwerk helped Spirit win every fight. Falcons’ Naga Siren–Batrider combo didn’t find enough impact to turn things around.
Game 3 sealed the deal. Yatoro’s Dragon Knight led the charge, while rue’s Tusk and DM’s aura-heavy Abaddon gave Spirit a near-unkillable frontline. Falcons tried to force fights with Tidehunter and Timbersaw, but Spirit’s coordination was simply too much. A final high-ground teamfight ended it all as Spirit took the 3–0.
With this win, Team Spirit are crowned Esports World Cup 2025 champions, ending the event without dropping a single map in the playoffs. Team Falcons finish in second place after their own impressive run through the bracket, including wins over Liquid and Tundra. The tournament wraps up with Spirit at the top, followed by Falcons in 2nd and PARIVISION in 3rd.
