TYLOO vs Complexity – IEM Cologne 2025 Stage 1 Lower Bracket

TYLOO defeated Complexity 2–1 in the IEM Cologne 2025 Stage 1 lower bracket to stay alive in the tournament. The Chinese squad recovered after dropping Overpass, winning Inferno and Ancient to close out the series. Moseyuh was named MVP with 54 kills, 79.5 ADR, and a 1.26 rating. TYLOO move on to face 3DMAX in the next round, while Complexity are eliminated in 13–16th place.

Map 1 – Overpass (13:11 Complexity)

Complexity’s pick started well with a 7:5 T-side, followed by a back-and-forth defense. Grim pulled off a key 1v2 clutch with the MP9 in Round 17, and hallzerk added impact with 17 kills. TYLOO’s JamYoung fought to keep the map close, but Complexity held on through steady site holds and late-round trading.

Map 2 – Inferno (13:6 TYLOO)

TYLOO struck back on their map pick with a confident win. They led 8:4 at halftime and locked down the CT side after the break. Jee was instrumental, posting 18 kills and multiple multi-frag rounds from pit and arch. Complexity couldn’t build momentum, struggling with entry success and post-plant conversions.

Map 3 – Ancient (13:11 TYLOO)

Ancient was the decider, and TYLOO edged it out after another 7:5 half in Complexity’s favor. On the CT side, Moseyuh delivered repeated anchor holds, including a late 3K defense to deny map point. Despite a solid showing from nicx (20 kills), TYLOO outlasted the North Americans in key retake rounds to close the series.

TYLOO move forward to face 3DMAX in Lower Round 2. Complexity are eliminated from IEM Cologne 2025 in 13–16th place with a $2,500 reward. In other lower bracket matches, Heroic eliminated MIBR, and FlyQuest knocked out B8.
