Spirit qualify with 2-0 win over NAVI
Team Spirit secured a 3-0 record in Stage 3 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, taking down Natus Vincere 2-0 in the 2-0 pool match to secure their spot in the playoffs. NAVI, now 2-1, drop to the mid bracket and will face Virtus.pro next.
Spirit picked Anubis to start the series, and while NAVI were competitive on the map, they couldn’t close key rounds late. The first half ended 7-5 for Spirit, and the second stayed tight at 6-6, ending 13-11. Donk closed the map with a 1v2 clutch post-plant, capping off an already strong performance.
On NAVI’s pick of Train, Spirit delivered a dominant first-half CT side, finishing 11-1 before switching to T side. The map ended swiftly at 13-3, with no real resistance offered from NAVI’s side. Aleksib finished 11-32 on the map, and the team had just five T rounds across both maps.
Donk led Spirit across both maps with 44 kills, 100.7 ADR, and a 1.55 rating, playing a decisive role in controlling the pace. He won Player of the Match with over 84% of the vote.
Team Spirit now advance to the playoffs with a 3-0 record and will face FURIA in the first round of the bracket. Natus Vincere will look to recover in their next match against Virtus.pro.
