Once the sides switched, G2 fully took over the pace of the game thanks to m0NESY’s multi-kill rounds and huNter-’s sharp support, closing the series and denying any comeback hopes from the NA squad.
G2 are headed to the grand final of PGL CS2 Major Bucharest 2025 after a convincing 2-0 win over Complexity, taking Anubis 13-8 and Dust2 13-9. The win was spearheaded by an unstoppable Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, who posted a monstrous 1.63 rating across the series, proving once again why he’s considered one of the best AWPers in the world.

Complexity, while surely disappointed with the result, still have one last shot at a podium finish. They’ll face FaZe in the third-place decider, in what could be an emotional matchup for EliGE, going up against his former team for the second time in Bucharest.
