
Astralis confidently defeat MIBR at the start of PGL Bucharest 2026
The Danish squad Astralis kicked off their PGL Bucharest 2026 campaign with a convincing victory over MIBR in the opening match. The series ended 2–0, with Astralis fully controlling the game on both maps and leaving their opponents with little chance to mount a comeback.

Mirage (13:10 Astralis)
The match began on MIBR’s pick, but from the very first rounds Astralis dictated the pace and quickly built a 10:2 lead. After the side switch, MIBR managed to string together six consecutive rounds, but it wasn’t enough to complete a comeback. Astralis closed the map 13:10.
Overpass (13:5 Astralis)
Astralis comfortably secured the win on Overpass as well. In the first half, they looked strong on the T side, winning as many as 10 rounds. The second half was short-lived, as MIBR failed to get back into the game and eventually fell 5:13.

The best player of the match was jabbi, who posted 94.5 ADR and a 1.74 rating.
This confident victory puts Astralis in the 1–0 bracket, while MIBR drop to 0–1. PGL Bucharest 2026 takes place from April 4 to April 11, featuring 16 teams competing for a total prize pool of $625,000.
