Team Liquid Defeat FlyQuest with a Crushing Victory

Throughout the tournament, these teams have been showcasing beautiful gameplay, and this match was no exception. The teams played all three maps in the BO3 series, with each map delivering surprising results.

The first map of the match was Inferno, statistically one of Team Liquid 's strongest maps. We anticipated a highly competitive game or even a clear victory for Liquid. However, the game revealed that FlyQuest is also quite strong on this map. They displayed such confident CS that Liquid seemed completely at a loss. As a result, FlyQuest claimed the first map with a score of 13:5.

The second map was Anubis, where Liquid finally woke up and started fighting back. Meanwhile, FlyQuest began playing more aggressively, which often cost them rounds they should have undoubtedly won. Liquid capitalized on their opponent's mistakes and managed to secure the second map with a score of 13:9.

The much-anticipated third map, Nuke, was set to determine who would advance to the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Elimination Stage with a 3:0 score. A fierce battle was expected, but unfortunately for us and fortunately for Team Liquid, the game ended almost before it began, with a staggering score of 13:1.
