The final match of Round 3 in the Opening Stage at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 saw The MongolZ face GamerLegion. Both teams entered the match with a 2-0 record, meaning a win would secure a spot in the Elimination Stage.

The MongolZ had the first map pick and chose Mirage. The game started evenly, with both teams trading rounds as they vied for an early lead. However, it quickly became apparent that the Mongolian squad demonstrated superior positional play. They closed the Terrorist side with an 8-4 lead and carried their momentum into the Counter-Terrorist side, ultimately taking Mirage with a decisive 13-5 victory.

The second map, Ancient, was the choice of GamerLegion, who were determined to bounce back and prove their worth on the grand stage. However, things did not go as planned. After the first 10 rounds, The MongolZ had stormed to a commanding 9-1 lead, showcasing remarkable skill and control.
