NAVI, ENCE and Heroic are in the TOP-3 according to the results of IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR B

IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR B has come to an end. As part of the competition, which took place from October 4 to October 9 in Malta, sixteen teams from Europe and the CIS fought for eight tickets to IEM Rio Major 2022. According to the results of the championship, eight strongest teams were determined, who formed the first group of participants in the upcoming major. At the same time, NaVi , ENCE and Heroic ensured a direct hit in the "legends", thereby gaining additional time for preparation. Well, we propose to sum up the results of the last RMR tournament and present the strongest teams.

The winners of the IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR B were NAVI and ENCE, who got three victories and did not suffer a single defeat. At the same time, "Born to Win" were higher in the final standings, as they scored the highest score in the Buchholz system. The third slot in the "legends" of IEM Rio Major 2022 was won by the Danish team Heroic, who outplayed OG and Vitality in replays - these teams are in fourth and fifth places, respectively.

The last three tickets to the Brazilian Major went to the teams BIG, MOUZ and Outsiders, who got their third victory the day before. At the same time, Sangal Esports, K23, Team Falcons, Illuminar Gaming, Monte, HEET, SAW and FANTASY remained outside the TOP-8.

IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A results

  • 1st place: NAVI — a place in the Legends Stage
  • 2nd place: ENCE — a place in the Legends Stage
  • 3rd place: Heroic - a place in the Legends Stage
  • 4th place: OG - a place in the Challenger Stage
  • 5th place: Team Vitality - a place in the Challenger Stage
  • 6th place: BIG - a place in the Challenger Stage
  • 7th place: MOUZ - a place in the Challenger Stage
  • 8th place: Outsiders - a place in the Contenders Stage
  • 9th-11th place: Sangal Esports, K23 and Team Falcons
  • 12th-14th place: Illuminar Gaming, Monte and HEET
  • 15th-16th place: SAW and FANTASY

IEM Rio Major 2022 will take place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
