Heroic, Vitality and OG will perform at IEM Rio Major 2022

Teams Heroic , Vitality and OG successfully qualified for IEM Rio Major 2022. According to the results of the fourth round of IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR B, the presented teams managed to get their third victory. At the same time, they still have to play for the right to take the third place in the RMR tournament, which guarantees getting into the "legends" of the major.

While the Danish team Heroic got a simple victory over BIG (2:0), Vitality managed to put pressure on MOUZ (2:1). Well, in the third parallel match, the OG team managed to beat the Outsiders (2:1) and went to the major.

Note that now the teams will hold a series of replays to determine the participant of the "legends" stage of the upcoming major. However, their final seeding will be known by the results of the fifth round, when the final Buchholz score will be assigned.

IEM Rio Major 2022 will take place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
