IEM Dallas 2022 will start in a few hours. As part of the championship, which will last until June 5 in Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, sixteen teams from Europe, Oceania, North and South America will compete for a prize pool of $250,000, as well as ranking points in the EPT and BLAST Premier tables. Format of IEM Dallas 2022

The championship will be held in two stages:

  • Group stage (May 30 - June 2).
  • Playoffs (June 3-5).

All sixteen participants were divided into two groups.

Group A:

  • FaZe Clan, LookingForOrg, G2 Esports, Movistar Riders, Astralis, Team Vitality, ENCE and Mouz.

Group B:

  • FURIA Esports, Imperial Esports, Team Liquid, Cloud9, Ninjas in Pajamas, BIG, MIBR and Complexity Gaming.

IEM Dallas 2022 will start with the group stage, from where six teams will advance to the playoffs (three from each group). The opening matches of the championship will be held in the BO1 format - all subsequent matches in BO3 (with the exception of the grand final - it will be held in the BO5 format). The winners of each group will go directly to the semi-finals, while the 2nd and 3rd teams will form quarter-final pairs.

Prize pool distribution

  • 1st place: $100,000 + 1,000 EPT points + 2,400 BLAST Premier points
  • 2nd Place: $42,000 + 750 EPT Points + 1,200 BLAST Premier Points
  • 3rd-4th place: $20,000 + 525 EPT points + 750 BLAST Premier points.
  • 5th-6th place: $10,000 + 350 EPT points + 225 BLAST Premier points
  • 7th-8th place: $6,000 + 200 EPT points + 225 BLAST Premier points
  • 9th-12th place: $5,000 + 100 EPT points.
  • 13th-16th place: $4,000

Latest news from the camp of IEM Dallas 2022 participants

  • NAVI and Entropiq miss the championship due to problems with documents - they were replaced by BIG and Movistar Riders.
  • Spinx will miss IEM Dallas 2022 and will be replaced by Snax. The reason is banal - the lack of a visa.
  • Astralis will go to the championship without a head coach. trace failed to obtain the necessary documents and is forced to help his team in a remote format.
  • ztr will replace hampus in Ninjas in Pajamas at IEM Dallas 2022. The captain of the Swedish team fell ill before the start of the tournament.
  • Heroic will miss the championship due to the coronavirus outbreak. The place of the Danish team in the championship will be taken by MIBR.
  • brnz4n will miss IEM Dallas 2022 - he will be replaced by a coach. The 18-year-old Brazilian never received a US visa.
